As part of the LivingInteriors exhibition initiated by publishing company Gruner + Jahr at the International Furnishing Exhibition, various outfitters showcased their own interpretation of contemporary living trends in the form of actual products. The “Black Bath” stood in clear contrast to the classical, natural and oriental room concepts. Amongst other things, it featured tile design by V&B Fliesen to optimum effect.

The individual concept has been thought out to the last detail and the interior designers commissioned by the owners have developed a separate colour code for each ship to give the furnishings on deck and in the various cabins and interiors a highly personal note.

The Theresen-Grundschule in Munich-Germering demonstrates that school buildings no longer have to be grey and dismal. The building dates back to the seventies and has now been extensively redeveloped by a team of architects who specialise in renovating schools. In collaboration with the school administration and parents, they implemented a friendly and colourful design concept that is uplifting on a daily basis. Tiles from the Pro Architectura range made a key contribution to the school’s new look.
Following extensive renovation, the indoor swimming pool known as the “Schwimmoper” reopened in 2010. Pro Architectura tiles highlight the modern feel of the facilities, including the large visitor terraces next to the competition pool.
